Resolved question:
I went to doctor and got screened for everything but genital warts and herpes. Would either irritate penile meatus. No discharge.

Herpes (Genital Herpes) can have a wide variety of presenting symptoms. It could feel as irritation / burning at the tip of the penis rarely. Warts generally do not present like this.
But the most common causes of such irritation are friction abrasion (from sex) , dehydration and bacterial infections.
