What is the best after sun lotion or gel - i understand aloe vera gel is good , but the ones i check just say 100 % aloe vera and so on but in fact they have all sort of artificial ingredients and with my acne prone / sensitive skin i dont want to put them on ...

There are many sunscreens available which are suitable in acne prone skin.
Neutrogena ultrasheer dry touch sunscreen is a good sunscreen for acne prone skin.
You could try that out.

Thanks Doctor - I regularly use sunscreen but I was more interested in knowing what a good product would be after sun exposure to minimise the effects of it.

Calamine lotion would be best to be applied after a Sun exposure to give a cooling effect to the skin, however if there is a rash, it would be best to apply cortisone lotion.
Sunscreen would ideally prevent any ill effects caused by the sun.
