Is taking PERCOCET safe in DRUG SCREENING CONTEXT?

Resolved question:
Hi, I was given a prescription for percocet after I had an accident which left me with some fractured ribs in February. I was told to avoid contact sports for a couple months and that running was fine. I went running last sunday and was incredibly sore afterward and took 2 percocet to ease the pain. I am currently in a hiring process and part of the process is a drug screen.

Is it acceptable for me to have taken the percocet in a drug screening context?

Hello,
Thank you for your medical query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Percocet is a drug that can be detected in the urine. For some people it can stay in the blood stream for 7 days, being slowly eliminated from the body and hence can be detected. Some organisations may consider this as a drug which should not be taken. When is the drug screening?
Kindly reply and I will get back to you.
Regards.
