Itchy painful and yellow discharge from sex organ

Resolved question:

Dear doctor,

I am a forty year old man and I am having the problem of continuous itching, painful eruptions like blisters on and around the genital region and pale yellow coloured discharge from the sex organ. I am nervous, am I infected with some STD given in stdlist? It has been two weeks since I am having continuous pain in my genitals. It is the first time I am facing such kind of ailment. There are frequent discharges from the genital region and continuous itching persists. It is affecting my sex life in the worst manner. Could you please suggest some curative measures and medicines?

Thanks for your question and concern. Genital organs do ejaculate some fluids for lubrication and ease of sexual activity. But pale yellow coloured discharge indicates that you have got infected with STD that is given in std list. It is caused by having sex with an infected partner. Sometimes condoms do offer protection against the infection and sometimes they do not. So, it is better not to have sex with an infected person as a preventive measure. As you are having the infection now, the best curative measure is to have antiviral and antibacterial medicine. It would do away with the malicious virus or the bacterium, which is the root cause of the infection. The regular application of antiseptic ointment over the affected area can fasten the process of healing. It is advisable to keep the area in maximum contact with air and in minimum contact with water. This can be done by adhering to lose clothing and by cleaning the affected area with dry sponge and antiseptic washing lotion. Avoiding sex during the healing period helps in fast recovery and prevents the transfer of infection to the partner. It is also advised to be calm and cool during the recovery process as a good mental health speeds up the physical healing. Take care.
