Resolved question:
I have a hard lump on my upper left labia minora. yesterday it was pea sized and today it's more than doubled in size, and is painful. the lump is flesh colored but i have no other vaginal symptoms. Yesterday it was a little itchy, and felt a bit like a bug bite but today it is sore and tender.

There are two possibilities here.
The first is - an infected sebaceous cyst , that involves sweat glands and hair follicles that are common in this area.
The other possibility is an infected Bartholin's gland, that also is present in this area.
Please upload a picture of the area if possible.
Both require antibiotics initially, and if antibiotics fail to resolve the lesion, surgical removal is needed.
ALso, take hot Sitz bath ( soaking in a tub of warm water ) atleast 5 - 6 times a day.
You should take painkillers if the area is too painful.
Maintain meticulous perineal hygiene.

This very much looks like an infected sebaceous cyst.
As it has burst on its own, you do not need to do anything right now.
Just apply local Mupirocin ointment.
If it recurs, please consult a gynecologist.
