LUMP above knee weighing so much. Treatment.

Resolved question:
I'm curious about the lump above my knee(s). It is as if the muscle is sagging and I am a little concerned about it because I fee as it there is so much weight above my knees and even feet that I am constantly holding up. Is that picture unusual?

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
The lump which you are feeling at your knee may be due to -
-Collection of fluid at knee ,this may be due to early arthritis.
-There may be inflammation of inner lining of knee, leading to synovitis .In this case thickening of inner lining may lead to such appearence.
-There may be a soft tissue tumor of fat cells or of bibrous tissue which should be confirmed by your doctor & some investigations like ULTRASONOGRAPHY.
Hope this will help you.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

What do you notice if anything from the attached photo?

Hello,
Thank you for the follow up.
From the picture it is difficult to pin point what exactly the cause can be. But it looks like a soft tissue tumor. Or synovitis.
Do you have any pain in and around the knee joint?
Any difficulty while you're putting weight on your knee ( standing up from sitting down position )?
Did you get your calcium and vitamin d levels checked recently?
Let me know and i will get back to you,
Regards.

Does your knee also locks?
Is there any pain at knee?
