LUNG CANCER on BREATHING MACHINE with no appetite.

Lung cancer patient on breathing machine. .had 2nd blood transfusion. .72yrs old..sleeps 18 hours a day..doesn't have much of an appetite(only eats once maybe twice a day, kid sized meals. .Little liquids)..only eats soft food (soups, yogurt) hard food not good..confused..hot then cold..short - term memory. .claims yellow cheese looks white..twitching arm and leg 3 times a day. .has little energy..needs help sliding over in the bed..can only stand for 2 seconds without help..PLEASE RESPOND AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE. ..

I understand your concern.
With the description of the current patient status, it seems that your patient is currently ailing from either an advanced stage of lung cancer or probably associated with other illnesses which deteriorated his health condition. I would like to get few more details (medical reports) for further comment.
If the present condition is caused by lung cancer, I hope the treating oncologist would have suggested to do scans of the brain, chest, abdomen and bone scans for confirming the disease can you send these reports ?
