HI looking for a third opinion as I've been suffering since July with no diagnosis yet despite plenty of blood tests. In summary
Symptoms
Periods of feeling "normal" but about 40% of time have a combination of following symptoms
Metallic taste in mouth usually combined with heavy phlegm that I "hough" up
Slight buzzy feeling in my blood. Like I've taken a drug of some sort
Dry mouth and get dehydrated easily particularly overnight. Drink lots of water to compensate but without feeling too thirsty
Soft stools 90% of the time. Sometimes diahhrea.
Bouts of very frequent urination. Double the usual level. The urge comes on suddenly.
Left ring fingernail has constant yellow/brown discolouration on one side.
Discolouration sometimes extends all the way down finger. Have had brown/yellow blotch appear on face.
Sensitive to sharp high frequency noises. Not particularly loud nut something like a light switch flipping will make my head get a shock
When having most of the above symptoms feel quite down. Trying to stay positive but don't see joy in food or sex like before
Have difficultly staying asleep when I get the buzzing blood feeling. Can all asleep ok but cannot snooze or hard to go back to sleep once awake.
Do a lot of sport and fitness but lately feeling short of breath a lot more with no reason for this
Poor kidney function recorded in September - elevated levels of urea and creatinium.
High levels of calcium 10.7 but this lowered in latest test
latest results show kidney slightly better but liver function showing eleveated levels
High levels of iron (31 umol/l), transferrin sat (53%) and serum ferritin more normal )297 ug/l)
Urine has been normal in all tests.
Mother has had parathyroid issues causing elveated calcium which required surgery.
I'm Irish with classic celtic traits. BMI of 24.

The right testis has already become atrophic and nothing can be done to bring it back to original size.
However, care needs to be taken that nothing happens to left testis. You should get ultrasound scrotum.
I shall also be interested to know if you had any episode of severe pain in your right testis in the past when it was of normal size.
