Mistook pills in CONTRACEPTION PILL TRIEME.

Resolved question:
Combined contraception pill Trireme .My wife started a new pack by taking the yellow pills instead of the brown pills. She has taken the yellow pills for 7 days and not skipped any pills.Should she continued with the following pills ? Should she stop taking them ,or should she start on the brown pills again?

Would we have been covered from pregnancy over the last week?

Thank you

Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Please be very careful while typing out your query, it creates a lot of confusion. Little spelling mistakes can make a lot of difference.
I think you mean Trifeme right, not Trireme ?
Now coming to your query, the yellow ones are active pills, and the red ones are inactive ones.
So yes, if she continues with the pill pack, she should be fine.
Let her finish this pack and wait for her period, when she starts her period, let a fresh pack be started with due care to the instructions to be followed.
For the first week of pill use, a backup method has to be used, as you are not covered for the first week of pill use, after that , you are.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
Regards.
