hi the last few days i have had a pain in my left testicle and i noticed a lump, it doesn't seem to be attached to my testicle it seems to be hanging by a cord or something, just wondering what it could be and if i should go see someone

From your description you seem to be having epididymal cyst. Epididymal cyst is just an outpouching in the epididymis and is usually nothing much to be worried about.
You should see urologist to confirm my diagnosis and beyond that nothing needs to be done.
