Pain in feet with PED STENT for BRAIN ANEURYSM.

Resolved question:
My Dad had a PED stent put in his brain about 2 months ago for a brain aneurysm. He also has 5 heart stents that he's had for about ten years old patientnow.
He also suffers from peripheal neuropathy in his feet and they are constantly aching and painful and have very low circulation.
So recently I bought him an Ion Detox Foot Spa (see attached website link for a picture and explanation of what it is) to help ease the pain in his feet. He's had it professionally done a few times now with no problems but the reason I'm now concerned is that AFTER buying him the foot bath and after he's now started using it, I read in the instructions that people with pacemakers or stents shouldn't use them. I can understand pacemakers as the foot bath delivers positive and negative currents into the body so this would disrupt the pacemaker. But a plain stent - would that be affected by this or have the manufacturers put it in their instruction booklet just to cover themselves? Because when I searched on the internet, I found conflicting instructions. Some sites say anyone with a stent shouldn't use. Other sites say only pacemakers and battery operated stents are contraindicated and that plain stents are fine. And like I said, he has had it done professionally quite a few times when he had just the heart stents and it caused no problems.
Can you see any reason why plain stents would cause a problem? And if so, what would that problem be? I don't want it to be dangerous for my Dad to use! He is just in so much pain with his peripheal neuropathy and this seems to help him so far.
I have tried contacting the manufacturer but at the moment, it's been proving hard to get an answer from them.
Thankyou for any help you can give me, it's much appreciated.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have gone through the case history. As you have mentioned that he is suffering from peripheral neuropathy due to flow, have you shown to any physician in identifying any cause?
From the link you have sent regarding Ion Detox Foot Spa , i understand that it should not cause any problem to the stents placed in the heart ,as these have been implanted 10 yrs ago and they would have been endothelised by now and part of the blood vessel of the heart . As far from the heart concerned because of the stents you need not worry about it.

Thanks so much for the reply. He has been to professionals about his neuropathy, apparantly it's due to toxins and chemicals in his body as he wa a farmer for 50 years. So the heart stents will be fine but what about the brain stent as that was only implanted 2 months ago?
Thanks so much.

Being a Cardiologist i can comment about the stents in the heart , i don't have idea about the stent in the brain. But in case of the heart stents even if implanted 2 months ago there should be no problem , i feel this may be same for brain stent but i am not quiet sure.
