Pain in legs, hands with darkened skin. Cause?

Resolved question:
I have constant pain in my legs arms and hands. My legs and hands have darkened and my hands swell. My hands get numb and I smetimes have to run warm water over them to get feeling back
They ache constantly. Not as much when I'm moving. I'm African American and my hands and upper thighs are turning black. Sometimes my thighs and hands are cold to the touch. I take heart meds and high blood pressure meds but my cardiologist doesn't think it's heart related.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Are both of your arms swollen? Where is the swelling exactly?
Since when did this pain and darkening symptoms start? What medications are you on? And what was your BP during the last checkup?
Did you get your CBC evaluated recently? Your symptoms are non-specific to any particular condition, hence, it would be better if we have a detailed analysis. I will advise CBC, FBS/PPBS, ESR, CRP, LFT, RFT, Serum Electrolytes, and Urine Routine besides a latest ECG.
Kindly revert back with more information,
Regards.
