Popping feeling without pain in throat. CANCER/GLOBUS PHARYNGITIS?

Resolved question:
My name is Alex, I have a popping feeling (maybe a lump, not sure.) in my throat on the side of my adams apple, or close to it. It doesn't hurt, and I don't feel the popping feeling all the time. I am afraid it's something serious. I press my finger against my throat, and I feel the popping feeling, but other times I press my finger on my throat, and I don't feel any popping feeling. I also feel a pointy poin down at the bottm of my throat (I am pointing at it in one of the pictures). I don't know if it is something serious or just the end of my throat.

Medical History:

I was in he hospital last year for a throat issue. A lump grew on the side of my throat very quickly overnight, and it got so big that I had to go to the ER, then admitted to the hospital. It turned out to be an infection inside of one of the muscles in my throat. The doctor also said it could have been rocks (I believe that's what he said). they did not find out what caused the infection though.

I last time I got my blood taken, my blood pressure was normal. I weigh 220 and am a 3 year old male.

I have had stress from work throughout the last couple years.

I feel tried some times, and don't feel the urge to go out.

I don't know if I have absolutely nothing, or if I have something wrong with my Thyrod, or if it's cancer, or Globus Pharyngis.

I use to eat a lot of juck food, and I still do. However I am getting better at eating.

Hello,
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com

You are suffering from feeling of lump in throat.
Most likely you are suffering from acid reflux (gastroesophageal reflux disease/GERD). Acid reflux causes oedema and swelling of mucosa of throat which will cause foreign body or sticky sensation in throat.
Stress and junk food/smoking/ alcohol consumtion/spicy food causes acid reflux.
Still to confirm the diagnosis one endoscopy of throat (laryngeal endoscopy) can be done. You can do one ultrasonography(USG) to rule out any significant swelling.

For reflux you can start following medication-
Tab. Rabeprazole 20 mg once in morning before breakfast for 3 months.

You need life style changes to get permanent relief incluing-
Avoid spicy food/ fast food
Avoid smoking/ alcohol consumtion
avoid excessive tea/coffee
Drink plenty of water

Hope it helps, feel free to ask further queries

Best regards
