Purple, swollen inside anus. HEMORRHOIDS?

Resolved question:
Hi, I've been having a problem with my anus for almost 9months now. At first I thought it was just hemorrhoids, but now I'm not sure. My anus just seems to be purple and slightly swollen inside. I've been to a doctor, and they said they couldn't see anything. But I'm convinced something's wrong. Please take a look at the attached photo. Thanks

Hi, Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I saw the picture.
As per your description and the pic,it looks like a Internal haemorrhoid.
The purple colour is due to old collected blood .
These internal haemorrhoids are best seen under Spinal or General anaesthesia.
You should take high fiber diet, drink plenty of liquids, eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Your stool should be soft. If there is no response with these dietary measures, you should consult your Surgeon, get examined clinically and proceed accordingly.
In my opinion, Anal dilatation should be done along with Haemorrhoid removal.Under anaesthesia, any other haemorrhoids which are not seen routinely can be visualised. They can also be removed in the same setting.
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
