Recent flu, nausea, stomach cramps, vomiting. What's wrong?

Resolved question:
I had the flu two weeks ago and was out for about 4 days. Last night, I started to feel out of it again, and was throwing up for about 5 hours. The rest of the night I had bad stomach cramps and bad nausea. If I were to go into a doctor, would they be able to do tests to see if something else is wrong?

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
It is extremely unfortunate that even though you're in shape and exercise, you got diabetes.
Fasting between 200-250 persistently is not good and it needs to come down further and quickly.
So it is better you discuss with your local GP and start Metformin.
Since the primary cause is not obesity only diet and exercise won't be sufficient.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

yes, i will do this! Do you think it is possible it is type 2 when I am slim? Or is it more ikely T1 or type 1.5 LADA?

Hello,
Considering you're 35 years old it is more in favor of LADA.
You should get yourself evaluated for GAD-auto antibody, specific for LADA, and if it comes out to be positive then immunosuppressant therapy such as Cyclosporine can be initiated. Meanwhile you should also get your HBA1C levels checked.
Regards.
