Risk of having sex with CHLAMYDIA treated partner.

Resolved question:
My girlfriend got Chlamydia last year and was treated. She got tested three months ago and was clean. I know it can resurface again. What are the risks that I am faced with by being her sexual partner?

Hello,
Thank you for your query to DoctorSpring.com
RF waves create heat and cause the fat cells to denature. Long term effects of this on other surrounding tissues like blood vessels, nerves etc is not known. The use of RF in focused small areas like thyroid, heart etc is known but such a use over large areas like abdomen is not clear. Therefore I cannot recommend the procedure to you since the long term effects have not been studied.
Diet and exercise remains the best way to reduce weight and if beyond that, and if the criteria are fulfilled, a bariatric surgery. Other procedures are only cosmetic in nature.
Hope this helps, feel free to discuss further

Thank you doc. By any means, is there any possibility to get cancer if I undergo this?

Hello,
Thank you for the follow up.
RF waves does cause damage to the nerves and the blood vessels, however no study has recorded it damaging the DNA in any way, thereby causing chances of cancer.
Still more research needs to go into this field, because long term effects have not been studied.
As of now, it has not been proved that it can cause cancer in any way.
Regards.
