My wife was prescribed a medicine for acne, at 20th Aug 2015, Called : tabocine (doxycycline 100) for 15 days, 2 Days ago she realised that she is missed her period, which was supposed to come on the 28th Aug. and she the pregnancy test 2 days ago, the results came positive and she is pregnant she directly stopped the medicine, which she already took 26 Pills on 100mg of doxycycline,
.
My wife is 16 Days Pregnant, and we are worried about the heath of the fetus, and if we should keep it or not.

You can relax.
Doxycycline intake has been shown to cause skeletal / dental defects, but this happens when it is consumed by the mother in the second and / or third trimester of pregnancy.
Intake of doxycycline in the first trimester has not shown to cause any defects in the child.
In your case, particularly it was taken during very early period of pregnancy - so there is no room for risk.
Please take daily 5 mg per day folic acid for the first three months, and in future, be careful about what drug you take.
