Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
If the same lancet is used for multiple patients, it does increase the chances of transmitting infections, because it comes in direct contact with the blood.
IT depends on the status of those who are sharing it.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

Thanks
Lancet its a pin not a needle so blod its not staying inside the needle. How high is the risk?.
Should the person go to the doctors as soon is possible and what test should be taken? .It happends last night.

Hello,
Sorry I initially assumed you were referring to the disposable blood lancets that some labs use for finger pricks.
In the case of the pin, it is safe and there is no concern of transmission of any infections.
Please ask further queries if you have,
Regards.

Somethink like ACCU-CHEK kit test .you prick the finger and you drop blod on test strips.

Yes, in that case there is no worry.
It is very safe method of detecting sugar levels.
