Sarcoidosis with positive Thyroid autoantibodies.

Anti- Thyroglobulin Abs (Centaur) = 160 U/mL
Anti- Thyroidal Peroxidase Abs = 974 U/mL
All other thyroid test fine. My symptoms I have experienced lately are Muscle stiffness, change in menstrual period, weight that I cannot loose and tiredness. My only other health concern is diagnosed sarcoidosis.

Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.

From your reports, I gather that you have positive tests for auto-antibodies for Thyroid, although you have normal thyroid function. (I presume TSH, free T4 and T3 are normal). Your symptoms are not be related to thyroid abnormality and may be related to sarcoidosis and probably, steroids that you may have recieved for the same.

But you have a risk of developing hypothyroidism in future, more than those people who don't have these antibodies. You need to test your Thyroid function by TSH and T3 and T4, on an annual basis.
