Hello,
Thank you for asking your query at DoctorSpring.

From your symptoms, it has appeared you have developed Umbilical Hernia.

Umbilical hernia is a condition where the abdominal contents protrude out through weakend muscles. It causes skin around umbilicus to turn red. That's the reason you are having redness around umbilicus.

Complete hernia repair will be required for the pain to go away, though over the counter pills will give you relief like Tylenol. A umbilical hernia if not treated can lead to complications like strangulation of hernia, which is no blood supply to that part of the abdominal content present in the hernia sac. To prevent this, immediate surgery will be required. Before that if you are suffering from chronic cough, constipation if its there. I suggest you visit a physician.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to ask follow-up questions
