Small yellow mark on breast without pain. IBC?

Resolved question:
I woke up and took a shower, normal routine. Noticed a dime sized very yellow mark on my breast. I tried washing it cause the color was odd. I realized it must be a bruise. I did not hurt myself and it was not purple ever, just this off yellow. Tiday it's now a brownish color, msybe a mix of yellow, brown and a hint of purple?? ( still a light bruise) I've been paranoid of having IBC. I had a 3d mammo and ultrasound one month ago that came back normal. I originally went because I have one larger breast and wasn't sure it was always that much larger. Anyway I know a bruise can be a sign of IBC, on occasion it's the only sign for a few woman. Do you think it's likely? I just find a bruise like that odd. I rarely get bruises on my breast. To see this now after thinking I had IBC is making me nervous. What do you think?

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
Please provide me with a few details.
What is your age ?
What makes you so paranoid - do you have an ominous personal or family history ?
One breast larger than the other is a very common and normal finding.
A bruise is rarely a sign of IBC.
A bruise would be painful.
A bruise would have an antecedent history - trauma, pain, squeezing, a few , tight brasserie.. something.
Please upload pictures of the bruise and the area.
I do not think IBC is a possibility at all with a normal workup just a month back.
Please write back with the details.
Also , what is your height and weight ?
Regards.

I am 37, 5'3" and 170lbs. I have a mother who had breast cancer in her 50's. But my reason for fear of IBC is because when I looked into my breast size differences IBC came up. I read everyone's stories and symptoms that had or have it. It scared me because some had few symptoms and dr.s didn't even believe they had it, tests were difficult in diagnosing it. After all that I've become terrified and very aware of every little thing on my breasts. Even though there is no direct pain on the bruise, or memory of how it could have happened, it still definitely looks like a small bruise. Light in color but definitely a bruise appearance.
I'd like to ask a desperate question.
I have fibrocystic breasts. I'm die for my period soon and both breasts are tender but my larger breast is more tender than the other. My other breast barely bothers me, but the larger one is more painful. Is it normal to have one that seems worse than the other?

Hi,
To me it looks like a small pus filled boil on the breasts.
All I can see is yellow, no tinge of any other colour there.
Also, fibrocystic breasts are so common, that too, before periods, their acting up is quite common.
Yes, the larger one would have more tissue, more density and hence would be more symptomatic than the other.
Do not worry at all.
Regarding the lump, just let it be.
If it gets any bigger / painful, see a doctor and have formal antibiotics for it.
Right now, ice packing should help.
Do not handle it, that might spread the infection.
Wear cotton bras, that are not too tight / constricting.
Regards.

Thank you. It's definitely not a boil. It's not raised or filled. Actually it's faded and barely there this morning. But thank you for the info. Glad to hear the breast pain is normal. I get nervous easy about everything.
