I feel like urinating a lot at times. Today, after urinating, it felt like I have to pass something else. As I waited, a white semen like smelly discharge came out. It smelled very bad. Usually I drink a lot of water and so urinate a lot. Mostly, my urine smells very bad and is clear also. I haven’t had any sexual intercourse for the last 6 months. This makes me disturbed. Please help.

Thanks for your query. Penile discharges are normally due to urethritis. This can be caused by infections due to bacteria or viruses. E-coli and such common bacteria causes urethritis. It is better to take a test of urine and make it confirm. Other infections like Chlamidia and gonorrhea also leads to urethritis, which is more dangerous. It is advised to have a long term anti-biotic course and abstain from unprotected sex. Your penile discharge can be examined in a swab test for more information. If you are found to have any sexually transmitted infection, your partner also will need treatment for the same. Good luck.
