STAPHYLOCOCCUS SPP with CLUE CELLS in urine, stomach pain.

Resolved question:
Dear Dr,
I am 26y old unmarried female. I have stomach pain sometimes, mostly in the night since 3 ~ 4 months. So I have done ultra scan & urine & HVS M/C/S as per LAB directions. Result says Urine culture: Yielded significant Growth of staphylococcus spp & Note says Clue cells seen, suggestive of bacterial vaginosis.

So please kindly explain to me if I have any diseases & the reason.

Thanks,
Faith

Dear madam,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
All your tests are within normal limits and you are not suffering from any disease.
The pain you are experiencing is probably because of excessive acid production and you should take antacids regularly for few weeks and you shall be fine.
Staphylococci are found on skin and not in urine and the growth you have got is from skin and nothing needs to be done. I shall not worry about clue cells because trichomonas infection shall cause you burning sensation lower down and also discharge.
Stop worrying and take antacids.

Take care
Sincerely
Rajiv Goel
