Hi,

Thanks for asking your query.

STD testing is done in many ways. When you go to doctor for STDs testing, they may start asking you questions about your risk factors. After assessing what diseases you are at risk for, they will test you for those conditions. Anyone with new partner or multiple partners should be screened for Chlamydia and gonorrhea. Syphilis screening is recommended for pregnant women and certain high risk groups including prison inmates, men who have high risk sex with men and patients with another STD. in absence of symptoms, however, other people are not usually tested for syphilis because of the risk of false positives. However if you are at risk of a particular disease, speak up. The best way to make sure you are screened is to ask. The various stis tests are listed below:

  • Syphilis test
  • Chlamydia test
  • Gonorrhea test
  •  Non-gonoccocal urethritis test
  • Trichomoniasis test
  •  Chancroid test
  • Herpes test
  • Bacterial vaginosis test
  • Hepatitis test
  • Mycoplasma genitalium test
  • HPV test
  • Lymphogranuloma venereum test
  • HIV/AIDS test
  • Pubic lice test
  • Scabies test
