Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
You have been diagnosed irritable bowel syndrome.
But the episodes of bleeding is not a feature of irritable bowel syndrome.
Inflammatory bowel disease is a possibility.
I would advice a stool analysis and a colonoscopy test for evaluation of your symptoms.
You can take a course of probiotics.
You can discuss with your gastroenterologist about the possibility of inflammatory bowel disease and get those tests done.
I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.
Regards,
Dr.R.K
