Patient replied :

My shoulder was inflamed and would get sore after any lifting. They removed frayed tissue and did a minor repair on myh rotator cuff. I think they may have sutured part of the rotator cuff. I dont have any pain when working on the computer or just doing minor tasks. I was concerned over the popping / clicking noise when I lift my arm over my shoulder. Doesnt happen all of the time but as I said just concerned.

Hello,
Presence of poppying noise is just an indication that there is movement between two irregular surface or between one irregular or other regular surface or movement with presence of laxity like in case of effusion .As your repair is recent one so any one of the above may present and may lead to poppying sensation .
In my opinion you should not worry as there is no pain.
This sensation will go way in 2-3 weeks.
Hope this will help you.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.
