There is a bump in my penis

Resolved question:

Hi doctor,

I am very much concerned about this issue. I have got a bump on the bottom part of my penis. It is not so big in size also. It is seen right on the bottom of the penis and at the middle. It is under the skin and is not hurting at all. I don’t know how it occurred. Could it be some sort of lymphocele or cancer? Or anything else? Anyway, I know that it is not normal and wish to know what it is.

Thanks for your question. Lumps in penis can be caused by many reasons. From your words, I smell a possibility of a thrombosed penile vein. Or it can also be a plaque which is associated with Peyronie’s syndrome. Anyhow it is most unlikely to be a lymphocele or cancer. Don’t think too much about it and no need to worry a lot. Just stay cool and be healthy.
Good luck.
