Treatement for urine infection after traction for hip fracture.

Hiii
My grand father slip in bathroom and when taken to hospital reported fracture in hip bone.
He has given traction but after 15 days of traction he suffered with urine infection with dark brown colour urine. Dr is saying that its severe urine infection.
But now condition is getting worst and he is now in oxygen and i have noticed swelling in face and hands.
Dr is not telling anythingand saying that swelling is because of oxygen pipe.
plz tell me.
what can be reason for swelling .
And what to do.plz

Your grandfather needs to be evaluated for the same as edema can indicate kidney problems, cardiac problems or even liver issues.
So, you need to ask them to get an ECG, LFT, and RFT done.
