Treatment for pain and bleeding from foreskin of penis.

Resolved question:
I was getting a blow job , and suddenly something hurt my penis , and it started bleeding badly . It was not paining much though . It stopped bleeding after a minute or so . Later I tried checking the wound . But when I tried pulling down my foreskin it pained most when my foreskin came down upto the wound ( near the area where foreskin and rest of the penis meet ) . I was not able to check it properly. I have left my penis foreskin untouched for a day but it pains a bit sometimes . So please suggest me how should I go about this , should I be worried ? Should I pull back the foreskin or wait for the wound to heal completely ?

Hello. Thanks for choosing Doctorspring.com

From your history, it seems like a foreskin tear, which is very common in sexually active adults, especially those who are not circumcised. I will advise you to refrain from any sexual activity for the next 2 weeks or so, don't try pulling back your skin, since there will be some inflammation and it can cause further injury. It will heal in around 7-10 days. If possible, after the pain has subsided, you can apply some antiseptic gel such as vaseline, or even neosporin ointment will help. You can apply in the affected area 2-3 times a day, but apart from that don't try pulling your foreskin as of now.

Ok , thank you . But the thing is that the injury is under the foreskin , so it happens that the injury remains covered underneath it at all times. And consequently I have not been able to apply anything. So is that fine ? Should I just let it heal ?

Hello.

You can apply the antibiotic cream over the foreskin covering that area. The medicine will be absorbed and will have its effect on the tear too. And you should give it time to heal. By the end of 2 weeks, it should be normal.

If there is excessive pain, you can take Ibuprofen 400 mg once. Please make sure you do not consume this tablet on an empty stomach.

Thank you.
