Treatment of eye infection by STAPHYLOCOCCUS HOMINIS and EPIDERMIDIS.

Resolved question:
Hello - sorry in advance for the long text ;).

It probably all started around 6 months ago when i had an urological condition with chlamydia trachomatis .
I treated it with antibiotics doxycyline and azithromycine over a period of 3 weeks.
I was tested negative after successful treatment. Shortly later I noticed that i had very red conjunctiva and also some light irritation in my throat which is at this point persisting for almost half a year. There was some discharge in the morning from my eyes and i went to a doctor prescribing me azithromycin drops for possible chlamydia. It didnt help. A sample was taken , no chlamydia was found however following bacteria ;

Right Eye: K1 Staphylococcus hominis ssp novobiosepticus
Left Eye: K1 Staphylococcus epidermidis

In the meantime i had tried a few other local antibiotics with no success.
The antibiogram showed many resistances but sensitivity to chloramphenicol. Used also this locally but did not help. Over the time my eyes started feeling very dry and floaters were appearing in both eyes and becoming more. The retina was checked to be ok in both eyes and i was told there is nothing i could do it would be normal and it has nothing to do with the infection.

I was advised to stop using any kind of medication and just use hydrating eye drops. I havent taken any drops in a few months with no change except that the floaters and clouds are becoming increasingly frightening and there is stll this yellowish dots on the conjuctiva close to the nose however its very subtle. I think that is some kind of bacterial layer.

The eye floaters and clouds that i see moving around are becoming worse over time. My doctors said it has nothing to do with the infection but i can hardly believe that as it all started in line with my symptoms .

Last time i went there after a local doc told me to retake the antibiogram. In the hospital they said there is no big infection and they dont see a reason to take a new sample for analysis but i know that its still there and my floaters get worse. I have a feeling that there is something in my system and i dont know what to do anymore. It doesnt wanna heal on it own.

I will send you a foto of my eye if this is private .
Best regards, manuel

Hello.
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I undertand your concern.
What I see is that your eyes are quiet & appear normal , but if you have floaters which are increasing you need to show a retina specialist , which is mandatory. Last but not the least you can stop all the medications in totality. I will advise you visit a retina follow up as soon as possible.
