Hello Doctor,
I have had Peyronies disease for as long as I remember and mine faces at 90 angle. My question is can this be fixed somehow so that it could be straight?

Thanks for your question and concern. Peyronie's disease which is also known as Tunica Albuginea, is a connective tissue disorder involving the growth of fibrous plaques in the soft tissue of the penis. This may be due to trauma or injury to the penis usually through sexual activity. It is not caused due to any sexually transmitted infection. Treatment for this is usually done by a specialist urologist. Initially the treatment is conservative, focusing on reassurance and observation. Vitamin E supplements and colchicinesis used as oral treatment, tamoxifen, verapamil and interferon Alfa- 2b can be considered. Extracorporeal shock wave treatment can also be used. In case of surgery penis plication can be done in advanced cases.
