Walks unbalanced with problem in XRAY. Chance of TONOTOMY.

Resolved question:
my daughter is 1 yr and 9 months. she walks unbalanced and her X-ray showed that she has a problem. Some doctors her in Saudi Arabia suggested that she needs to do a surgery ASAP. In the surgery, they are going to break both thigh bones and put splint for 2-3 months. while another doctor suggests that there is a chance to do tonotomy.
what is the treatment that should be done in this case?
what is the consequences of this treatment?
does it need to be done for both legs in the same time or separate?
does she needs a physical therapy after that? for how long?
does the treatment affect the way she walks?

Hello
Thanks for using Doctor Spring for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Citalpram is one of the drugs used for obsessige compulsive disorder, but if it has not shown any improvememt then is unlikely to show improvement further. Unfortunately the new drug that has been prescribed to you , ansiben, is again a citalopram. Moreoever doses of these medications for ocd have to be high to show any improvement. Generally for my patients I suggest them to start on fluoxetine 20mg and then gradually increase to 60mg. Any anxieety meanwhile can be controlled with clonazepam. I also consider adding some low doses of clomipramine which helps in anxiety as well as ocd symptoms.
I request you to please discuss these options with your treating physician.
Hope this helps
Kind regards
Dr. Srikanth Reddy
