Ways to maintain TESTOSTERONE level at 500-600.

Resolved question:
Hi,

I had my total testosterone measured at 400 ng/mol.
This is said to be normal, but I am 29 and some 80 year old men have levels like this.
The test was done after weeks of little sleep and no exercise.
I would like to achieve a stable average value of 500-600 ng/mol.
This is due to the fact that I feel the 400 is borderline low and at this rate i will fall below the threshold at age 70. I know the ranges say this is "normal". But normal is not necessarily the best state I could be in.

How can I improve my values naturally. I do not which to do TRT or the likes.

Thx

Dear sir,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com

For me a testosterone of 400 ng/ml at your age is low and I want it to be around 550 for my patients. You need to do few things.
1. Sleep well; for at least 7 hours every day
2. Physical exercise; at least 25 minutes everyday; I like brisk walk
3. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables; ensure that there are very little pesticides and chemicals
4. Early morning walk; wake up by 5.30 am
5. Eat normal protein, low fat and low glycaemic index carbohydrate diet
6. Get your vitamin D and vitamin B 12 levels checked
Take care

Getting to 550 is what I would like to achieve too.
Q1: Have you had experiences where this was actually possible with the steps you mentioned? After all, it is a 38 percent increase!
Q2: Apart from lack of sleep, what could be the cause of my below average values for my age group? I dont drink, dont have any health issues, am not obese. (187cm, 73kg, lean).
Info: I have not taken a homrmone test in 5 years. These results were actuallt taken when I was 25 as you can see by the date on the attached results. I was working in finance with abt 5 hours of sleep per night max. My diet was not balanced. I was not able to do much excercise.
Info: Now at age 29, least until 1 month ago, I was waking up with health daily morning erections. Then I had a rough couple of weeks with little sleep and excercise due to work. This last week I have been waking up exhausted again after 5-6 hours of sleep.
I have since the age of 25 managed to increase my physical fitness considerably in the sense that I can lift heavier weights, can run longer, do pull ups above my weight level. I also eat very consciously and healthily.
Q3: Can my lifesyle actually account for variation between 400-550?
Q4: Is it possible that I might get higher resutls if I took another test now?
Q5: I used to take Zinc, Magnesium and B^/B12 supplments. Does that even make a difference? Are there any suplements at all that can help?
Looking forward to your response.
Regards,
C

Dear sir
It is possible that you may have normal levels now and hence you should take the test.
I manage most of my patients with things mentioned and some supplements and they report fabulous results few months down the line.
Sleep and balanced diet are very important factor in having normal levels of testosterone.
The supplements you have been having are important and must but vitamin D is the most important and I shall be interested to know its levels along with testosterone levels.

Take care
Sincerely
