Hello doctor Ihad a question related to pregnancy as I am taking a regular pill but forgot to take in the second week as I went into a sexual intercourse three days before. Is there any Vd seen in me? What are the chances of pregnancy in my case as I had my periods, the night I had sexual activity?

Thanks for your question and concern, as your question is related to pregnancy so before coming to your point let me tell you something about the factors related to pregnancy, as having unprotected sex is one of the biggest reasons for pregnancy. If we talk in medical terms then getting unprotected sexual intercourse not only creates the chances of pregnancy but it causes many of the diseases as well as infections. Disease like sexually transmitted disease which is a transmitted disease which is transmitted through one partner to another during unprotected sex whereas this disease causes sexually transmitted infection which enters the body and make many more infection and people suffering from this infection even don’t know that they are diagnosed with this infection because this infection does not show their symptoms as they can appear after 2 or three weeks or even it might take a long term time. As you mentioned that you didn’t have a pill in the second week then there is no need to worry that much because the chances of getting pregnant are less. But do care about your periods as see that you don’t miss periods because if you miss your periods than their will be chances of pregnancy. Vdis not seen in your case. If you miss your period then my suggestion would be, a pregnancy home test (prega news) which is easily available in the market.Take care.
