White itchy bump on vaginal lips with normal discharge.

Resolved question:
Hi. I am currently traveling internationally and without insurance in the country I am visiting. I tried to set up an appointment with a doctor here but it is very expensive, so I would like to ask about my medical issue prior to making a decision about if I should go to the doctor here or if I can wait until I return home in two week.

A month ago I started having itchy irritation on the lips of my vagina in the hairline and about a week later there appeared a white bump on the inside of my vagina lips about one inch about the clitoris. The discharge and smell is normal. I took two Ph tests today, both of them came back normal.

Do you know what this might be?

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I think it is likely to be a boil.
This is like a pimple that occurs on other parts of your body.
It is an infection / inflammation of the hair follicles in this area.
Generally, it disappears on its own in a few days.
It is precipitated by shaving, epilation or other forms of hair removal, rubbing during sex, touching the nails while masturbating or otherwise etc.
Right now, avoid touching the area.
Keep it clean.
There is no need to use special cleansers, soap, gels, douches etc.
Just clean with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Have protected sex till this clears.
Give it a week, and if it persists / reappears , you might need to see your doctor to have a prescription for antibiotics.
You can easily wait for a couple of weeks till you reach home.
Meanwhile, if you can upload photos of the area, then I can be more sure of what it actually is.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
