Hello

Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.com

I can understand your concern. It may be boil or some other infection. But I need to see it clearly to tell you the exact diagnosis.

Can you please send me a few more pics? Maybe a couple of them zoomed out?
Please write back.
Thanks

Hello,
Without some more pictures it is very difficult to give an exact diagnosis.

It seems to be lichen planus. Lichen planus is a chronic condition where there could be lesions which are scaly n violaceous.

I recommend application of a prescription strength steroid cream like mometasone furoate once daily for two weeks.

You can apply a moisturizing cream on the area twice a day. Also taking tab. Claritin will help with the itching.

You will need to follow up with your doctor to make sure how long you need to continue the cream n when to stop it.

Its a chronic condition but it's not serious and can be kept in check. However we cannot eliminate it completely.

If you can still send me a better picture which you have clicked from a slight distance it would help to see the lesions clearly which i can't do now.

If the recommendations i have given are not helpful i.e there is no improvement at all, please consult your dermatologist in a week.

Please let me know if you have any queries.
