Resolved question:
I've been talking with dr. Manish malhotra on here about hsv-1 spreading to my eye and also caruncilitis that I have been dealing with and I noticed this whiteish yellowish looking spot on my lower eyelid on the inside and I was just wondering what it was? If it's cause for concern? I've included 3 pictures. Not exactly sure how long this spot has been there.

I still say that the redness is not that bad , but i could see some rashes on the face , as advised in our previous conversation kindly visit the ER , as many a times there can be a masquerade of signs which cannot be picked on a photograph.
The redness could just be a part of the allergies.
Will it be possible for you to get yourself examined by an ER physician?

There's one more picture of the white spot I was referring to on my lower eyelid. As for the redness of my face I figured it was from being outside some today. It's been a little windy and the temperature is down in the 20's Fahrenheit. I just figured it reddened my face?

Yes it is possible that you have an allergy.
The white spot that i see is just a concretion , one should not worry about , but i will still advise you get an ophthalmologist opinion and get your cornea examined. I think it will also help your anxiety, once they can examine you physically and rule out anything serious.

Do you see something wrong with my cornea? I thought it looked normal? It was my caruncle that has been concerning me.

No i can't possibly see anything wrong with your cornea, without physically examining you.
Your caruncle will settle down in a weeks time. If you can get anti inflammatory eye drops like Keterolac to be put in three times a day is the recommended treatment if it is not resolving. In severe cases we use oral anti infllamatory tablets also.In your case since the discomfort is not much ,the drops should be sufficient.
Also i asked you to get your cornea examined, so that your anxiety regarding HSV-1 can end, because if it did pass on to your eye, it will affect your cornea, which can only be examined by slit lamp. Hence i mentioned. I don't think you need that now. It is only for your satisfaction.

I went ahead and called my optometrist and explained to the I guess nurse what was going on and she told me that my optometrist could examine my eye caruncle but I asked instead to be sent to an ophthalmologist so I see them in a few hours. A little worried because he just finished his residency this year so I'm concerned that he lacks experiance but anyway that's what I got. Education was 2010, internship 2011, and residency 2014. All in a different state than here where he is now.

Please do not worry about his competence.
He may not have years of experience.
However the way residency works, he will be exposed to a lot of cases like yours during his 4 year tenure.
And caruncle is a simple disease. Please go to him. I can assure you, he will give you the appropriate suggestion.
