Yellow eyes and high Albumin

Resolved question:
Dear Contact,

About one week ago, I noticed my eyes became yellowish and I went to doctor to find out the reason. Since I thought it is because of kidney or liver problem, I asked doctor to test my blood for liver functionality as well. Today I received the result and as per my doctor it is normal but I think it is not since the amount of Albumin and Total Protein is high in blood test.

Albumin 51 g/L (38-50)
Total Protein 85 g/L (65-85)

*Result is attached.

I will appreciate if you would let me know what can be the reason for this high amount.
Do I need to do more test for better detection.

Thanks,

Hello,

Thank you for asking your query at DoctorSpring.

Your tests are absolutely fine. There is no need for any concern. Having a higher normal range of protein is not an issue. Unless the proteins are highly elevated, it means good health only. On the contrary low levels of proteins might be concern.

As long as you are in good health, with no symptoms no further tests are required.

Hope this helps
