Thank you for using Ask a Doctor Service from Doctor Spring.

I can understand your problem and will try to help you the best possible.

The symptoms that you have like disorientation, headache, dizziness and blurred vision could be most probably due to infection in ear such as the middle ear infection, or infection in the inner ear called labyrinthitis. Another condition associated with these symptoms is migraine which is a neurological problem or due to vascular problem causing insufficient blood flow to the brain. From your blood test report it is evident that you have an infection somewhere in your body, and I’m suspecting it in the middle ear or inner ear. It is important to identify the cause for this problem through further investigations. So you will need to consult with ENT specialist or a Neurologist who will be able to assess your problem in depth and evaluate your condition better with more specific tests like peripheral blood smear. Your doctor might recommend you for more diagnostic tests at later stage if needed like a special type of MRI brain scan called MRA (A magnetic resonance angiogram) or MRV (magnetic resonance venography) which scans and identifies problem with blood flow to brain, because insufficient blood flow can also cause these symptoms. These symptoms could also be due to side effects of certain medications, so if you are on any medication right now inform that to the doctor. Do not worry, it is a curable problem, and with proper medication you will be relieved of these symptoms. Your doctor might either advise for a course of antibiotics to treat ear infection if present or medications for improving more blood flow to the brain. Belching has got nothing to do with these symptoms.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask if you further questions. Thank you.
