Hi,I'm a 24 yr old female.
My period has been late by 13 days. Nd I sexually active. I took a home pregnancy test but that was negative. My period hs been fairly regular in the past with them happening 4 day prior or after my date.
I have taken emergency morning after pill in the past. 3times in the last 4 months.
What reasons can there be?
Is der a possibility that I could still be pregnant after a negative test, though I have not has any other symptoms of pregnancy nor am I having any sought of discomfort.

When have you taken a pregnancy test last ?
Your period can be delayed due to the frequent intake of the emergency morning after pill.
When used so frequently, it leads to irregular / delayed cycles, and is not effective as a contraceptive either.
Please do not take any more morning after pills, and let me know when you took the test last ?
Also, what is your height and weight ?

i took the test on the Sunday (12th).
Last i took the pill was about 2 months ago.
height :5ft 3 inch
weight :82kg
also i was wondering if you cud suggest a good contraceptive pill/ method for me, though we always use condoms, i just want to be safe from my side too.
No there is no question of a pregnancy.
You are overweight, so that can be a reason for delayed periods.
ONce in a while a period might be delayed due to stress, anxiety, travelling, late nights, erratic eating, being overweight, etc.
If this happens again, or you do not have your period within the next week, please consult a Gynecologist.
Go for an internal exam, Pap smear, Pelvic transvaginal ultrasound scan and hormonal levels - FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin.
You can start using Femilon, which is a good contraceptive pill, and should be started on the second day of your cycle.

You can take tablet Meftal Spas for the pain and cramps, if it is very severe, and persists inspite of the medication, you should consult your doctor.
