Chances of cervical cancer

Note that there are 40 different types of HPV known and each one of them cause different sexually transmitted disease also. For example, a HPV which causes a cervical cancer would never cause genital warts and vice versa. Also, in your case in the test it was told to you that you wear a risk of getting infected with cervical cancer. I must tell you that at present there is no way one would be able to find that whether or not you will be having cervical cancer in the future because no test can be conducted on the HPVs. When two partners that are sexually active have intercourse with one another without using any kind of protection, then there is certainly risk of getting affected by cervical cancer in the case of females. The reason behind this is that when there is unprotected sex then there is always genital to genital contact. This increases the possibility of transferring the HPV virus. Also if there is a sexual intercourse with an already infected person then no one can rule out the risk of getting HPV causing cervical cancer.
