Change of pills causing headache and cramps with no period

Resolved question:

I recently changed pills and i am on the sugar pills at the moment, i would normally gety period on a Wednesday and have not got it yet but have had a headache and some cramps here and there. Is there a chance that i will skip this month because its a different pill.

The sugar pills are placebo pills whose main content are sugar and are free from hormones. You had earlier been on the regular birth control pill, which mainly acts by suppressing ovulation and preventing pregnancy. These sugar pills do not suppress ovulation and usually people on this pill get the periods in a day or so.

I would suggest you to wait for another week and see if you get your periods since it is normal for it to be delayed for a few days. If you haven't got it for more than a week then you can consult your Obg-gyn doctor.
