DECAYED TOOTH without pain in OPG. Still EXTRACTION necessary?

Resolved question:
Hi, this is regarding order number 388878 which is a closed consultation, but I have 1 follow-up query which I forgot to ask Dr. Girish, P. V. (Dentist). The question is: If the decayed tooth (circled in attached X-ray OPG) do not give any pain, is extraction still necessary? What is the risk if they are not extracted? Thanks.

Yes, its necessary because any infected tooth or tooth/root pieces are sources of infection and should be eliminated from the body.
They are also areas of food lodgement, gum disease and bad odour etc.
Patient will only benefit from their removal.
