diabetes patient on insulin loses weight continuously

Resolved question:

I am a diabetes 1 patient on insulin. I have controlled my sugars to a good extend. But while eating full non carb meals, I am losing weight. I take 5 Lantus units a day. My typical blood sugar levels are less than 100mg/dl. My physician said that in my case, I have a rare onset of type 1 diabetes. I will be left with no beta calls soon. Why is this happening? Please help me out with this.
