I think you need to insist on more information from your doctor.
It appears that you had some retained products of pregnancy inside your uterus which led to the torrential bleeding.
A D and C would have fixed that up.
How is the bleeding right now - is it heavy
Is there a lot of pain ?
There are two possibilities here - the first is that there is still some tissue inside, that needs evacuation.
The second is that there is superimposed infection, that is leading to more problems.
In any case, you need a thorough internal evaluation by an OB - GYN.
Also a pelvic and abdominal ultrasound scan and a vaginal swab to confirm retained products and / or infection.
IT is also highly probable that the huge amount of bleeding has made you anemic.
You need your hemoglobin levels checked, and supplemented, if deficient.
Do not ignore this, and reach your doctor promptly, it can get very bad if neglected.
