Feeling dizzy, lightheaded after eating, tingling in hands.

Resolved question:
I've been getting very dizzy/lightheaded one hour after eating (blood pressure in normal), food is healthy, eat every 2-3hours. It's really scary. I saw doctor who said it looked like side effects from Flagyl which my last dose was on 1/3/15. I was given famotidine for stomach acid control and sent home. I also had AC1 of 5.8 but blood sugar was normal at time of testing. I'm really freaked out and scared it could be anything from pancreatic cancer or heart not working. My head feels like it's as if warm fluid just got injected in to it, but no pain, just a strange sensation. I've also been having tingling in my feet and hands. I don't know what to do??? What do you think it is? What should the doctors be looking into right now? Did I mention that it's scary when it happens :( Thanks

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Some of the causes of blood in stool are hemorrhoids, anal fissures, polyps , inflammatory bowel disease and malignancy.
So if it is blood in stool, it need not be just malignancy only.
Since you are not sure whether it was blood or undigested food particle, I would advise you to get a stool analysis done including stool occult blood test.
Since you have mentioned that there is family history of malignancy, the prudent thing to do is to get a colonoscopy done if not done already.
I hope that answers your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.
