Fever with low BLOOD COUNT, negative MALARIA/THYPHOID TEST.

Resolved question:
this is my 16 year old son blood analysis report .the doctor says there is not problem but we are bit worried ,what do you recommend?we had been to the doc after my son developed fever and we were worried that he might have contradicted malaria /typhoid and hence had visited the doc. After analysis, both the diseases were ruled out .we wanted to know whether we need to do any more tests since the blood count is very low and what medication needs to be done.

Hello.
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I went through all his reports diligently.
His hemoglobin is fairly good, that is around 14.2 and hence there is nothing to be worried about. It definitely is not malaria/ typhoid. All the other values are also representative of the hemoglobin indirectly.
No other tests are required as of now. He should just focus on a healthy diet with more of fruits, green leafy vegetables, grilled veggies and chicken. Also he can incorporate walking into his daily routine. Around 30-45 minutes of regular walking will help him. One he follows a healthy diet, those minor adjustments in the blood values will automatically happen.
Once again i will like to reinforce, there is nothing wrong with your son and there is no need for any extra investigations. He can start taking a multi vitamin supplement like ( A to Z ) one capsule at bed time for a month. Apart from that a healthy diet is the first and foremost need in your son's case.
Hope this was helpful,
Regards.
