My mother,60 yrs had an accident 5 months ago.elbow fractured into two pieces-"ORIF of olecranon with TBW" done.But within 1 month she developed stiffness and swelling in the hand and doing fist was tough.Wax bath suggested for 1 month-swelling reduced but stiffness is there. After some trial she now can make fist but everytime it causes pain and stiffness in the whole hand(i.e. upto forearm and arm). Now the problem is so much that pain starts anytime and she needs to take painkiller often. What is wrong with my mother and how she can get relieved of that?
