Genital not growing according to age. Cause and remedy?

Dear Doctor,
I am here to satisfy one of my query and proper medication if required.
My child(male) is five years old, the problem as I feel is his genital is not growing according to his age group.
Can you suggest the causes & remedy?

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Not to panic at this stage. The growth in genitals is mostly in spurts and a small penis may still grow with time and the age of 5 years is still small. But still it's better to be cautious.
The growth of sexual characteristics occur due to hormones and two hormones that are important are growth hormone and testosterone. You may get these levels tested in the blood. If there is any problem in their levels, they need to be corrected. Otherwise, if these test results are normal, then you can simply wait for a few more years to let the natural growth happen.
