Headache around temple area, prevoius TENSION HEADACHE. Treatment?

Resolved question:
I am 36 year old female, very active, regular checkups with my doctor (just had blood work 3 weeks ago). I have been having a headache on the right side around the temple area. It is tender if you push on it. No trauma to the area. The headache is not there constantly but the tenderness is. I will note that I had a ct scan last May and all was clear (diagnosis-tension headache). Could this be the same thing or something worse? Its a 3 month wait for the neurologist appt. No other symptoms. I do have tmj but use a mouth guard nightly for that but I grind and clench my teeth constantly. I'm a worrier.

Hello,
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have noted your symptoms and would like to reassure you that these are suggestive of tension headache and there is no need to worry. A normal CT scan last times ensures that there is no serious cause of headaches.
I hope it helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries.
Best wishes,
